OREO & COOKIE, SWEET 11 month old BONDED PAIR OF PITTIES It was with a very heavy heart that Oreo and Cookie' s master left her dogs behind at the city pound, due to housing issues . The loss of their home was unimaginable, but at least this 11 month old pair had one another. Thanks to an angel, they were saved from death’s door and were fostered together, living the county life, but alas, that foster had to give them up due to family illness and poor Oreo & Cookie are now sitting in a kennel, longing for a HOME! They love other dogs when properly introduced to them, they are well trained,and well behaved, but are young, active pups who have been tossed around quite a bit, so they will require some patience and leadership, as any dog their age would.  They are truly lovable, affectionate, entertaining and energetic, and would love a nice fenced in yard to run around in. They would love to be your running companion or hiking buddy or enjoy a game of catch in the yard.  These babies have energy to burn, but once they have had their play time, they are very well behaved in the house, are crate trained and are growing up together after going through so much in their short lives. Here is what one of their fans had to say about them: ”What perfect names for these Amer. Pit Bull Terrier Mixes who are la crème de la crème. Oreo, the Regal Gentleman, is very gentle and obedient. He walks beautifully on the leash and seems housetrained. He knows his basic commands and is a well behaved and calm dog, he is an excellent model for pictures taking. Oreo is very sociable and welcomes people and dogs alike. He is such an easy little guy to be with. Oreo is a lapdog. He jumps on the bench next to me and lays on my lap, dispensing tons of kisses.

Cookie the Beauty, is so perfectly groomed, she looked like she just stepped out of a full day at a doggie spa. Her coat is immaculate, healthy, shiny and clean. Her face is stunning, like a fine piece of chiseled marble. Cookie was surrendered by her owner, along with her sibling Oreo, due to landlord issues. Her former owner tells us that Cookie is housetrained, knows sit, stay, stop and loves to play with other dogs. Cookie was clearly looking for her people when we were out for a walk, but this gentle girl is so well mannered, she gave me kisses and hugs as a thank you for our time together. She climbed upon the park bench beside me, happy for a human companion with whom to spend some time, happy for the kisses and cuddles, and content to sit with me quietly enjoying the morning. Cookie will do well in any family setting.

Oreo and Cookie care a lot for each other and my heart was very touched by them. They were true family pets, loved and well cared for. Oreo Cookie would love to find a home together, but if necessary, they will go their separate ways.” Oreo & Cookie are fine with other dogs, not good with cats, great with kids 8 years old and up. They are 11 months old, about 50 lbs., both fixed, up to date on their shots and microchipped.
