NJ * Meet Millie--super sweet 6 month old Pretty Pittie Girl
Millie (formerly Champagne) was rescued from the Manhattan Animal Care Control by Amsterdog Rescue the day she was going to be put to sleep after she was found as a stray. She is only 5 months old and has so much love to give.
This beautiful little girl has a nice healthy reddish coat, white paws and the cutest little white mark on her head with a white strip that goes all the way down to her nose. She weighs 34 lbs but at 5 months, is still growing.
Millie is so eager to please and learns very quickly when corrected. She seems to like getting the direction she never got before now. She knows Sit, Stay and we are working on Leave It. She walks great on the leash just prancing down the street taking in everything around her. She also takes delight in chasing the occasional leaf that blows by or stopping to grab a stick. She stood calmly in the tub when I gave her a bath. She’s learning how to take treats nicely and allows toys to be removed from her mouth. She’s energetic when she first comes out of her crate but she’s a puppy. She also loves to cuddle and give kisses.
She has taken an interest in my 61 lb shepherd mix and would probably love to be in a home with a playmate with her energy level. She has also met my cats and wanted to play but at 11 years old, brothers Tino and O’Neill, wanted nothing to do with her.
She is up to date on her shots, micro-chipped and will be spayed before adoption. She is currently living in Monmouth County NJ.
