Eleven year old Mercedes lived in the same home all her life until one day her family had to move to a home that didn’t allow dogs, so poor Mercedes was dumped in a city kill shelter! Imagine how heartbroken and despondent she was after all those years with the same family. However, her luck changed when a foster angel took her in under her wing to care for her and give her a temporary foster home and now Mercedes is ready to find a home where she can live out the rest of her life. Mercedes loves being around people, and is perfectly content to rest her head on your lap or sit at your feet. She has to be kept away from the family cats and other dogs there and is so unhappy to have to be isolated in a separate room. She just wants to be part of a family again. Mercedes is spayed, up to date on shots, and is very healthy for a 50 lb. senior girl. She is good with male dogs, not good with cats, loves kids, going on walks and has this really endearing way of always looking at you to make sure everything is OK.
