Pink is a 5-year old 85 lb. American Bulldog mix with a sweet, loving disposition despite having been through a lot. He was found in an abandoned apt and ended up at the City Shelter on the Euthanasia List. Saved at the last minute, he was a sad, scab-covered skeleton. In his new foster home, he is blossoming into a playful, endearingly goofy pup that has made people say "What a beautiful dog!' when they pass him in the street. Pink is anxious to please, tries hard to be obedient and has mastered basic commands, including the art of walking quietly on the leash and taking food gently. He loves people, but because of his size, we prefer a home with older kids. Pink does like some dogs, but is not good with dominant ones. Pink’s favorite thing to do, besides eating, is to go on really long walks and explore the city or county, wherever he happens to be.  He will walk with you for hours on end and enjoys being outdoors in any kind of weather.  If you are looking for a dog who can give you hours of entertainment and be your constant friend, look no more; this boy wants to be your best forever friend.
