Take a look at this gorgeous face! Even with his cropped ears, Duke is one handsome dude with those eyeliner eyes! This VERY sweet 2-year-old American Staffordshire Pit Bull Terrier found himself in an overcrowded city shelter where his life was in danger. But the staff and volunteers there pleaded for him to be rescued and a very kind sponsor stepped up for him. Duke is an awesome dog, but could use a little training, so his ideal home would be with someone who is a PACK LEADER. His energy and passion are not yet controlled, because this poor baby is living in a cage in a boarding facility! He needs to find a HOME of his own, one where he can go running, hiking, and be the playful active boy that he is. As we know, a tired dog is a happy dog, and when he has activity, Duke becomes a 60 pound bundle of love. He adores people and would respond well to direction, because he LOVES TO PLEASE. He would be your star student. Duke is guaranteed to make you smile at least once a day.
