Rocky is a 2 yr. old Amer Pit Bull Terrier Mix who was saved from being surrendered to a high kill city shelter, thanks to his loving foster family who stepped up for him. Rocky has completed his training at Click to Zen in upstate NY and we have a lot to say about him!! - 50 lbs., Neutered, up to date on shots - They say he's a pit mix, but his features look more like Egyptian Pharaoh Hound mix or a Greyhound mix. (Handsome!!) - Rocky is an owner surrender because his owners moved to a new home that doesn't allow dogs. They call about him regularly and Rocky was very much loved. - He has gotten professional training, where all they use is POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT and they say he is a very intelligent, very sweet and very playful pup. He responds very well to positive reinforcement training. - He is an extremely quick learner, loooves to please, cuddle and loves to be with his humans where he can feel a part of the family. - He knows many commands sit, stay, give me paw, leave it, touch, space, settle, go pillow, go to bed and bang. (Wow!) - Would love a home with no other dogs, but Rocky is good dog friendly cats and with a very active individual or family. - He loves to run with his humans whether it's down the street or in a fenced in yard. - Once he gets a chance to go out for a run, he likes to just lounge around the home. He likes to relax with his rope toys or raw hides or one of his favorite stuffed animals. - He has been a great companion in our home and anyone or any family who adopts him will be VERY lucky to have him as a furever companion.
