Suge, a 4 year old 60 lb. Rottie-Shepherd Mix girl, found herself at a city kill shelter when her owner died. So scared was she, that she clung to the back of her cage, and it took days for the shelter staff to get her out for a walk. Suge began to come out of her shell, but alas, an overcrowded shelter is not a safe place to be and she soon found herself on the Euthanasia List, along with her siblings Madison and Evee. AmsterDog took all three down to Acorn Valley Kennels, where they could run and play and chill out and we could get to know all of them better. Here is what we know about our girl Suge, now that she is in a foster home in PA. Suge is a great dog for someone who’s never owned a dog before, she is that easy going. She is great Off-Leash, she knows all of her commands, she is housebroken, calm and affectionate. She knows how to fetch, and loves playtime. She really loves to SNUGGLE in bed or on the couch and will SHOWER you with KISSES. She is the EPITOME of a good girl. She sits so proudly on your foot because she just loves to be loved. She has become good friends with a physically challenged friend and as big as she is, you will never trip over her, she always gives you your space. Suge would be a great friend for an elderly person or anyone with a physical handicap. She is a GEM and would be a wonderful addition to any home with older kids. Suge is spayed, up to date on her shots, microchipped and all ready for her forever home.
